Gergana Stancheva

Co-founder of LAM’ON, Founder of Rikoandthehuman

Gergana is an illustrator and graphic designer with more than 10 years of experience in the field.

She worked for over 6 years in two start-ups – Empower United and Yatoto. Both ended up failing but she took all the lessons from those experiences and is implementing them in her current work.

At the end of 2017 Angela Ivanova and Gergana start developing LAM’ON, a biodegradable laminating film for print. One year later they found the company with a third member of the team – Philip Ublekov. The project wins second place in the 2017 National finals of Climate Launchpad, a place in the Climate-Kic Accelerator Program and a place in Chivas Venture’s Top 10 for 2019. Currently LAM’ON is one of 30 teams taking part in the EUSIC program.

In 2018 Gergana starts a personal project called RikoandtheHuman – a home decor brand, where she pours her creativity.

Gergana was awarded a place in Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2017 for Social Entrepreneurship.
