Nikolay Piriankov grew up in South Africa and studied his Bachelors and Masters in Business in Manchester in the United Kingdom. He has successfully started several affiliate, eCommerce and social marketing start-ups before joining his childhood friends to start Taylor & Hart – an online retailer specialising in custom-designed engagement rings. The disruptive company is optimising technology, service and design to enable customers to capture their story through jewellery.

Building a technology and marketing team in Sofia, Nikolay lives between Sofia and London. His recent achievement as CEO is closing a landmark funding round led by Active Partners, a renowned investor supporting only brands that demonstrate exceptional levels of consumer engagement. The total round amounts to just over £3.6M with participation on the round from existing investors Launchub Ventures. The London based Garage Soho, an early stage investor and brand builder led by the advertising guru Sir John Hegarty, has also previously supported the company.

Taylor & Hart now has 11 team members in Sofia, out of a total team of 40 around the world and is definitely on the way of becoming the next BIG jewellery name.
